November 12th 2009, we set out for the Active Life Weekend at Lake Burrendong near Wellington NSW.
On the way we stopped off at Dubbo and visited the Western Plains Zoo which was enjoyed by all.

The activities at the Active Life Weekend included a climb to Fern Gully and then some of the more agile went another 2 kilometers to the Mt. Harris lookout.

Other activities were water aerobics, massage, raft building (hilarious), grass boarding, indigenous games, archery, pole walking and of course lifeball, plus too many more options to mention.

The flying fox was capably handled by both Leo Pearn-age 90 and Joan McCalman

and, of course, we played Lifeball.

Saturday night was a Rock and Roll concert and the Dodgers All Stars started the proceedings with a Rock Around the Clock (a little alarm clock) performance and we were all decked out in our sequined vests. Gee we were great!!
