ASBVs from Lambplan Terminal Across Flock 1/04/06
This list is provided for clients to review the current asbvs for rams they have purchased. The first 2 numerals are the
year of birth so the animal 95001 will have the tag 5001. The exception is animals in 2000 which have black tags with
no year number, only an id number. Eg the animal 00251 will only have 251 on his tag.
ASBVs change with time as more information is gathered into the Lambplan database. It is useful to compare current asbvs
with the results of your lambs to assist in future ram selection. For example if your lambs are tending to be too lean, you
should consider selecting rams which have fatter (that is more positive) pfat asbvs than past ram teams.
If you don't have the tags of rams you have bought, we have reasonable records of which rams have been sold to whom,
so in most cases we should be able to identify your rams.
