Due to variations in the course rating between men and ladies at each course, championship scores will be adjusted to compensate for these variations. The adjustment will occur to the championship score only and not to the competition of the day scores. Adjustment will be made to the ladies scores only as follows:
Round 1 Carbrook Golf Club = -
Round 2 Redcliffe Country Club = -
Round 3 Nudgee Golf Club = -
Round 4 Hills Golf Club = TBA Stroke
As a result of the use of the ACR/ALCR, ladies are to tee-
Scores are counted as the best 3 results out of the 4 championship rounds. You are still eligible to win if you only play in 3 of the 4 rounds.
Handicap used for the first round will be used for all rounds of the championship. Handicaps will be adjusted as required for the daily competition in rounds 2, 3 & 4.
The 9 with a circle around the score when you have a score greater than nine does not apply during championship rounds. You must complete every hole and record your full score on your score card.
In the event of a draw the count back system to be used will be on the 3 cards used to obtain the result:
1st count back -
2nd count back -
3rd count back -
4th count back -
5th count back -
If you are not eligible to play in the club championship you are still allowed to play in the competition of the day.
Putting Champion
The putting champion will be determined during the club championship rounds.
Players are to record the number of putting strokes taken on the green for each hole. A "chip in" from off the green is to be recorded with a score of "0" putts. If no result for the number of putts taken is shown a score of 4 will be assumed for that hole. If more than 2 holes are missing the number of putts taken, then the scorecard will be considered invalid for the putting competition only.
Scores are counted as the best 3 results out of the 4 championship rounds. You are still eligible to win if you only play in 3 of the 4 rounds or you only have 3 valid cards.
Gross result only, handicaps do not apply.
In the event of a draw the count back system to be used will be on the same as for the club championship.
