Cover sheet - preferably Wet Ink's downloadable pre-printed Cover Letter - noting all contact details, the date, and the title and word count of your work, must be attached to each item submitted. Put your name on the cover letter only, NOT on the work. Mss: single side, double-spaced in Times New Roman 12 pt, new or recycled A4 white with pages numbered. If a piece is accepted you will be asked to re-send it as a Word document by email. If confirmation of receipt of your submission is required, include a stamped self-addressed postcard with the words 'Submission received by Wet Ink' noted in the message section. Do not send the only copy of your work, submissions will not be returned. |

Within reason - however, the longer the piece, the more outstanding it has to be to replace 2 or 3 shorter pieces. We also publish short pieces up to 500 words that are funny, snappy, experimental or thought provoking. |

Cliched topics, characters not fully developed, good initial idea not fully developed, endings rushed or disappointing. |
