Georgia Perimeter College - If you want to attend Georgia Perimeter College, don’t wait! If you’ll be eligible for classes this spring, you can apply for admission right now. The only real requirements are that you have the equivalent of a high school diploma and that you’ve had all of the necessary immunizations. If you have, then all you need to do is fill out the application and send it in. Chances are pretty good that you’ll get in, and then there’s a lot that you’ll be able to do for a lot cheaper than you’d have to pay if you were attending a regular four-year university. If you don’t think that you’ll be able to save enough money to make this affordable, then don’t worry! There are a lot of financial aid options available for you as well.
One of the things that makes Georgia Perimeter College great, just like a lot of other community colleges is the huge variety of different students that you’re likely to come into contact with on campus. For instance, there are people who are coming back to the college after they’ve already graduated for continuing education studies. Many of these people are senior citizens who have already retired from their job, and now have plenty of time to spend attending classes at a community college. There are, of course, a lot of regular students who just graduated from high school, but there are also some students who are still technically attending high school.
These students are enrolled in the joint enrollment plan, which exists so that high school students can take college classes for free, and can challenge themselves to higher levels with their academics. These students often end up going to a different college, and the credits that they earn at Georgia Perimeter transfer. However, if they decide that they want to continue attending Georgia Perimeter after they graduate, they find that they have a lot of credits toward their Associate’s degree already.
Also, if you want to do more than just study, there are several other options for people who want to participate in more school activities. For example, there are some intercollegiate sports for people who want to play sports, or a symphony orchestra for people who play instruments. No matter what your interests are, you can find an activity at Georgia Perimeter College that’s right for you!
