Collin County Community College - If you live near Decatur, Georgia, there is one college that you should definitely apply to. This is Collin County Community College. The community college was founded in order to make sure that students and community members in Collin County would have something to help them get a better education and move closer to having a career that they can really be proud of. This college consists of both students who are enrolled to earn credits toward a degree, as well as students who are enrolled in non-credit programs as members of the community.
A lot of the people who finish their two year degrees at Collin County Community College then go on to transfer into four-year universities. A lot of the people who intend to transfer to another college end up getting to transfer there. Most of the colleges that former students transfer into are actually pretty good universities. For instance, students from Collin County end up going to colleges like Texas A&m, Baylor, or Texas Woman’s University. Wherever you’d like to go, you’ll stand a better chance of getting in if you transfer from Collin County than you would if you just took a few years off from school altogether.
If you intend on applying for admission, there are a few things that you should consider. The first is that you need to have the equivalent of a high school education in order to get into the college. You don’t need to have graduated from a traditional high school, however. If you’ve taken a high school equivalency test, or if you graduated from a private or home school, you can still apply. Applying for Collin County is not very hard – in fact, you can fill out an application online.
Once you’ve been admitted into Collin County Community College, there are a lot of different tools available to you online to help you get the most out of your experience at this college.
