Ridgeland High School - Ridgeland High School is known to be one of the best high schools in the country – and it’s definitely the best in Walker County, Georgia. While most public high schools are not doing as well as their private counterparts, Ridgeland is doing fine. In fact, the students at this school are performing just as well as expected.
Students who attend Ridgeland High School find themselves in a school where there is plenty of clubs, sports, and other extra curricular activities to take part in. Not only are there plenty of extra curricular activities, however, but the school makes sure that education is also considered to be a key value. After all, that’s what students are at school for.
The school website offers links to several different pages about the sports that Ridgeland participates in. This is highly useful for people in the community who want to go to high school football teams – or even just for student athletes who need to make sure that they know what time their tennis matches are. There is also information about the JV team instead of just the varsity – so all of the sports teams are getting equal time, and attention.
It’s just student athletes who are getting time and attention, however. Plenty of student clubs are also offered at the high school, and all of these clubs have webpages set up specifically to give information about the activity and how students can join. Whether you’re a student looking to join JROTC, or just the art club, you can find the information you need online.
Like most high schools, Ridgeland High School offers more than just the regular high school classes. After all, not every student wants to go to a university – and not everybody’s interests lie through the same basic classes. Therefore, there is an extensive vocational department which allows students to take classes in agriculture, construction, drafting, and even health occupations. For high school students who intend to go on in any of these areas, this department is a great place to take classes in.
Whether you’re a student athlete or you just want to join the art club, Ridgeland High School is a great school for you to be attending.
