Gainesville College - If you’re looking for a good community college in Northern Georgia, then Gainesville College is definitely worth a look. This college offers all of the options that are available in most other community colleges, and more. Also, due to its two satellite campuses, this college is easy to attend if you live in Gainesville, Oconee, or Forsyth, Georgia. Just pick the campus nearest you and apply today.
If you do want to apply, you can even apply online. This is a great option, since it lets you apply immediately without having to worry about whether or not your application is being lost in the mail. If you’re not a traditional freshman, then there are a lot of other options for you to choose. You can also transfer to Gainesville College from other colleges or universities.
If you’re older than 62, you may also apply, and so can people who have been home schooled, earned their GED, or who are international students. The reason there are so many different sets of application requirements is that it’s not entirely fair to hold people to the same requirements if they went through school in a completely different way. After all, depending on when and how you went through high school, you may have different strengths.
While Gainesville College does not say that everybody is guaranteed admission, it should not be too difficult for you to gain admission. After all, most community colleges tend to have lower admission standards – which helps these colleges keep their prices low for everybody.
One benefit of attending a community college like Gainesville College is that it is not nearly as expensive as most four year universities. Therefore, if you’re looking for a way to attend college and save some money at the same time, then Gainesville is right for you. In fact, this is one reason why more and more people are starting to attend smaller, two year colleges before attending a university – they’re able to save hundreds of dollars by waiting.
If you’re thinking of attending Gainesville, however, there’s one very important thing that you should keep in mind. Since the school is completely tobacco-free, you’re not allowed to smoke cigarettes anywhere on campus.
If you’re looking for a great college with great policies and you don’t smoke, then Gainesville College is probably the right choice for you.
