Agra High School - If you’re looking for a good high school for your children, Agra High School in Oklahoma is definitely one to check out. While more and more schools around the country are being labeled as “in need of improvement” but the Department of Education, Agra is not one of them. In fact, this school is doing fine when it comes to test scores, and the number of children who are doing well. You might be worried that this means the school is closed off to new children joining, or that it’s very expensive – however neither is true! If you live near enough for your children to attend, then they’re free to do so – and the school is public, so you don’t have to pay anything extra for it.
One reason that the school is so successful is that compared to most public high schools in the United States, it’s relatively small. In fact, it’s very small. This high school only had 87 students enrolled in 2003 – which is far lower than the normal high school. This means that there is also a low number of students per teach at Agra High School. More teachers means that students get more time to work directly with an educator – something that has been proven to make the learning process easier.
There are other advantages to having your children attend a small high school. The first is that it’s much easier for you to get involved in both the school and your children’s lives. Another advantage is that its’ less likely that your child will feel left behind and abandoned in a huge school system. This is one of the larger contributors to childhood depression – children get thrown into gigantic school systems and aren’t sure who they can go to when they’re feel upset or left out.
More parental and teacher attention is always good for students, no matter what school they attend. This has been shown in study after study done on schools, students, test scores, and other factors. In fact, more direct student to teacher time is the only thing that consistently improves the education of children. At Agra High School, you can be sure that your children will be getting this much attention.
