Houston Community College - The entire houston community college is made up of four campuses: Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest. Each campus is very large in structure, and will accommodate hundreds of students. With Houston Texas being a very big place; the college has to be designed for the overwhelming population.
The Northeast campus of the college is most known for its automotive learning and training. Northeast is a large campus, although not nearly as large as other campuses that comprise the college. With this campus, you can expect a lot of learning potential and careers that you can be proud of.
The Northwest campus of houston community college is the most well known outside of central. This campus serves three school districts in the west and northwest parts of Houston and Harris County, Texas. Without a doubt – this is one of the larger campuses in the whole Texas region.
The territory covers approximately 300 square miles and almost half a million people in urban, suburban, and rural settings. The college serves students from all sides of Texas; with an amazing credit enrollment of 10,000 or more students! With an enrollment this high, you know the college is important and well respected.
The Southeast campus is but one of the five regional colleges that form the houston community college system. Southeast brings a wide array of educational opportunities to what is now known as the Southeast Learning Corridor. Southeast also offers one year certificates and two year associate degree programs as well.
The Southeast campus is also big in structure, and proves to be another essential part to the operation of the college. Southeast serves computer instruction, business training, and other careers. All in all – the college is quite amazing.
The houston community college in general, is comprised of the above 4 campuses and central. Central is the heart of the college, and where all of the administration and records are kept. When you register and apply for college, central is where you’ll need to be. Once you see this college – you’ll know why it’s the best Texas has to offer!
