McHenry County College recently lost a progressive and ambitious distance learning program. McHenry County College recently received approval from the North Central Association (NCA) to offer three associate degrees via distance education delivery systems: an associate of arts, associate of science, or an associate of general education. These McHenry County College Distance Education (DE) degrees are comprised of online courses, telecourses and special courses offered in variety of subject areas such as: business, accounting, English, computer information systems, history, math, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, art, Spanish, math and marketing.
Students may combine the McHenry County College online courses with telecourses, or combine traditional courses with distance education courses to earn a certificate and/or their associate degree at McHenry County College . In addition, students wishing to continue on and complete a bachelor’s degree can easily transfer to one of McHenry County College’s partnering universities offering distance education degrees. Partnering universities include Indiana University, Roosevelt, Franklin, Cappella, and University of Phoenix.
