Shoreline Community College - Shoreline Community College describes its programs as offering excellent academic, professional/technical and work force training programs to meet the lifelong learning needs of its community. University TransferIf you complete your freshman- and sophomore-level courses at Shoreline Community College, you can transfer to a four-year college or university. Records show that transfer students with an Associate in Arts and Sciences degree from Shoreline perform as well as or better than those who began their education at baccalaureate institutions.
Professional-Technical (aka Workforce Training)Shoreline Community College’s professional/technical training is designed to place students in the workplace upon completion of each program. Students can earn an Applied Associate in Arts and Sciences (AAAS) degree, or a Certificate of Proficiency, or a Certificate of Completion in more than 50 career training programs.
High School Programs (Community Programs for Youth)There are several different programs for high school-aged youth (16-20). Earn college credit while attending high school or complete high school while attending college.
Online Degrees & CertificatesEarn a degree or certificate completely online using your home computer and Internet connection.
International Student ProgramsShoreline Community College operates a comprehensive International Students Program that focuses on the educational needs of students coming from other countries and on those students who wish to obtain college education with a global emphasis. Shoreline Community College is a regional leader in providing study-abroad programs for two-year college students.
Workforce Education/WorkFirstWorkFirst is an exciting partnership involving Shoreline Community College, the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) , Employment Security Department (ESD), community-based organizations, business and labor. The long-term goal of WorkFirst is to help families become self-sufficient and move permanently off all forms of public assistance.
