In late January 1997 our friend Shane Fenton was taken from us by a terminal cancer.

Shane was only 42 years old and too young to be taken from his loved ones and friends. We shall never forget Shane's sense of humour and keen eye for a good time.

A steely competitor on the field and always one to take on those thankless jobs around the club its hard to find help with, Shane was a great friend to have around.

Shane we miss you mate!
