GOLDFIELDS OF SOUTHERN N.S.W

Below is a list of proclaimed goldfields that cover most of Southern New South Wales.
The dates shown, are those when the field was proclaimed, not discovered. The name of the County in which the goldfield lies, appears after the date.
The list is only good in so far as it will get you into the right area to start the search. For more specific information it is best to consult with your Department of Lands as they should have access to goldfield boundaries and production figures.
All you need to do now is get out there, talk to the locals, find out where the oldtimers went and start panning.
