Welcome to the BLISS Safety Action Group Website.
Bliss was formed following the March 2008 Community Forum. A number of residents indicated that they would like to collaborate around shared issues perceived in and around Canterbury Gardens. The group has been meeting monthly since June 2008 and comprises 13 active resident members plus representatives from Victoria Police and Community Renewal.
BLISS can only continue to make important changes with support from residents of Bayswater North. Please feel free to attend our meetings and have a voice in making a difference in your community.
All meetings are held 7pm - 8.30pm
4th Wednesday of each month
Members of Bliss recently put 50 in my street stickers on rubbish bin in Blandford, Burdekin, Allambanan and Huntingdon Streets.
A great reminder to all to drive carefully
Community Renewal is a Victorian Government initiative made possible through the Community Support Fund.
A gate has been installed at the entrance to Arrabri playspace carpark in April, an initiative of BLISS to try to stem some of the unsociable behaviour in the park overnight.
