Johnny's WAP Page
Listed below is a link to an experimental WAP page designed to be viewed using a mobile phone or handheld device capable of viewing WAP (wireless application protocol). Your mobile phone's WAP service must be enabled to view the link.It's written using WML (wireless mark-up language) and to be quite honest, I didn't think it would work first time - but it has! The page is fairly basic at this stage, but it does contain a link. When thinking about uses for a WAP page, the first thing I thought of was some form of handheld guide - so the link I've created is called the "Yarraville Pub Guide".
Johnny's WAP Page can be view using your mobile phone features such as "go to address", or "bookmark" the following address (just as you would bookmark a web page address) -
