Why do you need TypeTest?

TypeTest gives you an accurate measure of your copy typing speed and accuracy. Other typing test programs don't give a realistic measure of accuracy, they just check spelling.

You need Windows (95 or later).

You are invited to download a copy of the program. After you try it you will want to arrange to have it unlocked, for which there is a small fee.

Installation

These are the steps for installing TypeTest

Save the zip file to your local drive. You can delete it later or redistribute it.
Unzip
Run Setup from that directory.

Payment

TypeTest is limited in its functions until it is unlocked.

It will display either the accuracy or the speed (but not both) of a test. In order for people not be able to work around this, you won't be able to re-mark or open tests
Tests are 1 minute long.
No history of results will be stored.
