Bukit Bintang is really the commercial heart of Kuala Lumpur. It is about 3 monorail stops from Sentral (Central) station or a $1.40 taxi ride.
This where most of the major hotels and many shopping malls are situated.

Low Yat electronics mall. I bought a new computer kit here.
This is the guy I bought the computer from. Surrounded by the latest electronic gear, he does all his calculations by abacus. He gave me a calculator, and said "multiply 22 by 66 and work out 15% commission on the result".
He had the answer on his abacus before I'd entered the first part of the calculation!
