You can contact the credit bureau with any proof that you have that the report is incorrect and the credit bureau will then clear the incorrect entries. Consumers should request a copy of the report from a credit bureau at least once a year to be sure that everything is accurate and up to date.

Or if you have been turned down for credit you can call the credit bureau for a free copy of your report to find out why. You will have to give the date that you were turned down for credit to receive the report at no cost.
