Chapter 13 Budget Plan - Whenever you get so far in debt that you can’t pay back what you owe, the chapter 13 budget plan will give you hope. No matter how bad your credit is or what you happen to owe, this plan can help you. Millions of people have already taken advantage of the chapter 13 budget plan and got their financial situation back on track.
The chapter 13 budget plan will let you rearrange your financial affairs, repay a portion of your debts, and help you put yourself back on your financial feet. By taking advantage of the plan, you’ll be doing the first step to rebuilding your finances. Although it may take some time, it’s more than worth the time.
You get yourself back on your feet by repaying your debts through a chapter 13 budget plan. Under a normal plan, you’ll make monthly payments to someone known as a bankruptcy trustee, who will be appointed by the bankruptcy court, for a maximum of three to five years. The bankruptcy trustee will also distribute the money that you give him or her to your creditors, helping you pay off what you owe.
The step you’ll need to take with the chapter 13 budget plan, is filing for bankruptcy through a court. Most courts require that you have a lawyer, to ensure that everything goes smoothly. Once you find a lawyer and hire his services, you can ask him any questions that you may have.
Once you have a lawyer in your corner, you’ll need to set up a court date and get all of your financial information together. After you have attended court, the judge will probably appoint you with the chapter 13 budget plan.
Once you have been awarded use of the chapter 13 budget plan, you’ll be appointed someone who will help you. Each and every month, you’ll give that person money, and he’ll ensure that it’s given to your creditors. Although it may take some time, you’ll be back on your financial feet before you know it!
