By seeking to reaffirm your debt with your creditors, you show that, even though the debt has been discharged, you are still taking responsibility in paying of your debts. This helps build a good trust relationship between you and your creditors and will lead to favourable credit ratings down the line. It shows a responsible sense of creditworthiness on your part that most creditors admire.
So, as you can see there are many pros and few cons to reaffirming debts under bankruptcy chapter 7. The only actual negative aspect to reaffirming debts under bankruptcy chapter 7 is that you will still have to pay on your debt, which has already been discharged. However by reaffirming your debt, you will usually be able to get a better plan, so that your actually payments are much less, and possibly even work it out that your owed interest is cut. You will find your debtors are much more willing to work with you after you have taken the responsible road to reaffirming debts under bankruptcy chapter 7.
