Bad credit auto loans can be obtained by people with poor credit and many times if you pay the auto loan on time each month with no late payments you may be able to refinance the loan either with the company that you have the original loan with or with another company and get a much lower interest rate. Sometimes you can refinance your bad credit auto loans in as little as 6 months. Many times however it will take at least one year of paying on your bad credit auto loans to show that you have a good credit history with the company and prove that you will be able to continue making payments and are not a credit risk and longer.
When applying or bad credit auto loans, be sure to read the fine print. As these loans are made for people who the creditor believe a high risk and they may add stipulations in the fine print that will protect them-selves if the client was to default on the auto loan. You should be sure the bad credit auto loan is really for something you need and make a qualified decision. Check around and be sure you are getting the best deal you can. Many times these bad credit auto loans are for a long period of time and high interest will add up quickly over the years.
