Earlier this year Croquet Australia requested that Bruce Fleming convene a committee to look at the tournaments currently being conducted by Croquet Australia and to suggest any improvements and changes. The report was discussed by the ACA executive and then sent to the states for their comments. States were requested to bid for tournaments by the end of May. Apparently not all states have replied so none of these bids have been confirmed. Croquet New South Wales has offered to conduct the following:-

2010	Open Golf Croquet Doubles and Singles Championship - proposed date 15 - 23 May
2011	Patrons Trophy (Association) OR Trans Tasman
2012	Patrons Trophy (Golf Croquet)
2013	Interstate Golf Croquet (WCF Shield), Gold Medal, Men's and Women's Singles
2014
2015	Interstate Association (Eire Cup), Gold Medal, Men's and Women's Singles

The 11th Australian Golf Croquet Singles Championships will be held at the Victorian Croquet Centre, Cairnlea, from Saturday 29 August to Tuesday 01 September 2009. Download entry form and conditions of play. Entries close 26 July.

At the recent Council Meeting mention was made of the difficulty of obtaining white clothing for croquet. I went to The Netball Shop in Newcastle as they provide for their umpires who must wear white. I’m now the proud owner of a white tracksuit and have ordered a sleeveless vest. These are made on the premises and if you are interested you need to say you need it for croquet otherwise it will have a netball logo on it.

After a request from the 2009 Association Croquet State Team the Tournament Committee has agreed to move the 5 and Under Doubles from the 7th - 8th February to 7th - 8th March. The closing date for entries will now be 10th February.
