Bits & Pieces Website

Peter Fowler's Bits & Pieces Website

Peter Fowler has recently re-written his Bits & Pieces Website to streamline the information and provide a location from which members can download much of the FREE software that Peter mentions in his PC Care & Maintenance and Advanced Internet & Email courses. The website is located at http://www.homecompnet.com.

Yahoo! Group Mailing List

Yahoo Group Mailing List

The Club now has its own Yahoo! Group / Mailing List so that members can communicate in yet another way! Membership of this private Group is by approval only so you can feel comfortable that sharing your ideas and participating in discussions will be kept within the Club membership. Some members may choose to "lurk" in the background and just enjoy watching the discussions. Every Group member can read all the emails and the replies sent to the Group. Subscription to the Group is free and members may unsubscribe at any time. To join (subscribe) to the Group send an email stating your name to cpshills-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.au. The Group website is at http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/cpshills.

New Help Desk

Help Desk

If you have a question from a Computer Pals course or a nagging problem with your PC, try emailing the Club's new Help Desk to see if our resident Panel of experts can help you. The Help Desk can be accessed by looking for the Help Desk link towards the bottom of the contents pane on the left hand side of this website.

Information about the Help Desk and all the instructions for submitting your question are contained there. Use the email address shown for the Help Desk or if you use Outlook or Outlook Express you can just click on the Help Desk email address and it will open a pre-addressed email for you. All you have to do is write your question, add your name at the bottom and click "Send". The Club cannot guarantee to solve all your computer problems but we will give it our best shot!
