In the Beginning
Michael's music travels all the way back to a distant 1986 with the cassette release of Celestial Sounds, one of the first ever relaxation music productions mixed with Australian Nature Sounds. Today this album is still available on CD or as a download.

Michael grew up with a fascination for the Universe that led to studying science at university. In his youth he also studied music but it was not a pursuit that greatly interested him until he discovered the electronic music coming out of Europe in the 70's. The 'ambient' tangent of this new genre captivated him and led him on journey to his own productions and style.

Over the decades Michael has produced 15 of his own albums as well tracks for the ABC, and for other people's CD and Video/DVD productions.

Recent Years
In more recent years, Michael composed 6 albums as a part of a 'Cosmos Music Series'. Although these are in the latter part of his musical work, they do reflect his style of music that appears right across all his albums and the myriad feedback received over 3 decades.......

Michael's music can be described as ambient, etheric, flowing, drifting, but importantly and as a part of Michael's aim, his albums are consistent from one track to another - no sudden sounds or changes to interrupt the journey.

In General:

Michael’s music is considered to be some of the finest free flowing, deep relaxation music available. While there are some differences between all CD’s, there is a common thread to all productions and that is the free flowing, drifting nature of the music. Listeners often report, right across many of the titles, being transported to other realms, be they realms of relaxation, meditation, sleep & dreaming. In addition, a common area of feedback, is the non imposing aspect of the music, where listeners feel the music floats around, without distracting them from where the mind is placed or from any focused activity. The CD’s are also popular for both repetitive and long playing and great for going to sleep or slowing down the mind or the breath.
