I've been sent quite a lot of printed information on
avian influenza.
There is a single page biosecurity fact sheet from Animal Health
Australia
titled "Spot the risks of avian influenza occurring in your
birds" and
a 14 page comprehensive "Avian Influenza Preparedness
Kit" from
the Australian Egg Corporation Limited.

IS NOW ON-LINE
Many of our Club members (in NSW and Victoria) received copies of the Pet Directory as prizes at our Club shows both last year and again this year have said how much they appreciated them. They have given the Club a free listing in every edition.
There is also now an on-line Pet Directory located at www.petdirectory.com.au Anyone who would like to may post a free listing on the site.
It covers a wide range of products and services and all sorts of animals. These include dogs, cats, horses, birds, small animals, aquarium fish, farm animals, reptiles and wildlife.

Phil and Michelle Litchfield (Perth, WA) have Quail d'Uccle for sale in
trios, pairs or single birds at $15 to $20 each. If you want to bulk
buy you can negotiate a price. Various ages from chickens upwards.
They also have fertile eggs available for $25-00 per dozen plus posted.
