John
Simons, son of John Simons, born c.1807 in Leister, England. John,
a convict, arrived on 18th April 1829 aboard the ship "Mellish". John married
Mary Ann Taylor, daughter of John Taylor, on 23rd May 1836 in Maitland NSW. Mary
Ann born c. 1815, a convict, who arrived aboard the "Diana" on 25th May 1833.
John died 20nd April 1889 and was buried on the 22nd April 1889 in Raymond
Terrace Cemetery, NSW along with Mary Ann who died on 18th July 1891.
