1. Alexander Mackay, son of Donald & Isobal MacKay nee Forbes, christened 1st March 1797 in Latheron, Caithness, Scotland. Alexander married Margaret Campbell on the 13th April 1820 in Latheron, Caithness Scotland. Margaret was born in 1796 in Lairg, Sutherland Scotland. In the 1851 Scottish Census, Alexander and Margaret lived in the Parish of Roster, District of Latheron, Caithness Scotland. Alexander, age 58 Years, a farmer with 13 acres of land. Margaret's age was 55 years. Also on the census were the children, John (28), James (26), Alexander (24), David (22), Robert (20), Finlay (18) and Clark (16) all were fishermen, then Margaret (10) and Ann (8) who were at school. [I.G.I. Caithness Fisch]. Alexander died 16th June 1863 in Guidbest, Latheron, Caithness, Scotland.

John married Catherine Sutherland, daughter of Andrew and Jane Sutherland nee Forbes, on 15th September 1857 in Wick, Caithness. Catherine born Abt. 1826 in Mid-Clyth, Caithness and died 13th March 1905 at 16 Bexley Terrace, Pulteney, Caithness and John died 18th February 1885 at Vansittart Street, Pulteney, Caithness. 12. David McKay, son of John and Catherine Mackay nee Sutherland, born 16th September 1872 at Wellington Street, Pulteneytown, Caithness. David married Elizabeth Ann 'Lizzie' Bain, daughter of William and Elizabeth Bain nee Shearer, on 23rd December 1898 at Breadalbane Terrace, Pulteney, Caithness. 'Lizzie' born 19th January 1877 at Wellington Street, Pulteney and died 7th August 1936 at 18 Huddart Street, Pulteney, Caithness. David died 20th February 1931 at 31 Huddart Street, Pulteneytown, Caithness.

        i)    David McKay, born 17th September 1912 at 31 Huddart Street, Wick, Caithness Scotland.
     

13. Margaret Campbell MacKay, daughter of David and Elizabeth Mackay nee McKenzie, born 17th February 1860 in Wick, Caithness Scotland. Margaret married (1) William Armstrong, son of Alexander and Christina Armstrong nee Groat, in 1879. The shipping records of Western Australia have Margaret Armstrong, age 23, arriving aboard the "Fitzroy" from London, on the 3rd July 1883, her occupation 'Domestic'. Margaret had three children with her:- Davidina 5yrs, Alexander 3yrs and James 2yrs. (1881 Scottish Census)

    Margaret Palmer married (2) James Palmer  in 1879 and  died 6th March 1931 in the District Hospital, Albany WA.

14. Alexander Mackay, son of David and Elizabeth Mackay nee McKenzie, born 15th August 1861.
     

15. Helen Mackay, daughter of David and Elizabeth Mackay nee McKenzie, born 7th April 1863 in Port Dunbar, Caithness Scotland and died 23rd October 1938 in Yarbo, Saskatchewan Canada. Helen married Adam Campbell, son of William and Mary Campbell nee Sinclair, on 20th July 1883 in Scotland. Adam was born on the 8th October 1855 in Murkle, Thurso Caithness Scotland and died on the 4th June 1938 in Yarbo, Saskatchewan Canada.

        i)       Mabel Jane Campbell, born 18th January 1907 and died 17th April 1931.
     

16. Elizabeth Mackay, daughter of David and Elizabeth Mackay nee McKenzie, born 23rd July 1864 in Scotland and died in 1940 in Scotland. Elizabeth married William George Bremner, son of George Bremner and Isabella Geddes, on the 17th April 1888 in Wick, Caithness Scotland. William was born 18th November 1863 in Scotland and died ?.

David married Rachael "Retta" Sinclair\Shearer, daughter of William "Billy" and Margaret Shearer nee Miller, on the 15th April 1942 at the Parish Church, Wick, Caithness. Retta born 21st April 1920 at 8 Rose Street, Wick and died 12th July 1966 at 7 Barbara Place, Wick, Caithness. David died 18 May 1969 at 46 Upper Dunbar, Wick, Caithness.
