Logue Family

1. Daniel Logue, son of Charles Logue and Margaret Bracey, arrived in Sydney aboard the "Resource" on the 22nd December 1840. Daniel married Catherine Doherty, daughter of Philip and Mary Doherty nee O'Dougharty, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, East Maitland NSW on the 25th January 1848; Rev. P. Maginnis officiated and witnessed by John Carey of Morpeth and Ellen Maher of West Maitland. Catherine born Abt. 1827 in Ramelton, Co. Donegal, Ireland, arrived in Sydney, with her parents, aboard the "Herald" on the 15th July 1841 and died 16th March 1908 at Seaham NSW.

       v)     Patrick Logue, born 29th July 1855.
       vi)    Bernard Logue, born 2nd December 1856.
       vii)   John Patrick Logue, born 12th July 1858.

2. Charles Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 27th November 1848 at Seaham NSW. Charles married Elizabeth Rothery.

3. Mary Logue, daughter of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 3rd May 1850 at Seaham NSW. Mary married Charles Burgess at St. Joseph's, East Maitland in 1869.

4. Philip Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 6th April 1852 at Jerry's Plains NSW.
    

5. Daniel Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 6th October 1853. Daniel married Mary Bellamy. Daniel was killed in an accident with a horse at Brandon, Seaham NSW.

       i)      Clara May Logue, born 3rd May 1881.
       ii)     Daniel John Logue, born 24th March 1884.
       iii)    Margaret Catherine Logue, born 19th September 1886.
       iv)    Claude Logue, born 23rd April 1889.
    

6. Patrick Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 29th July 1855.
    

7. Bernard Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 2nd December 1856. Bernard was a horse-breaker and was killed when thrown from a horse on 26th January 1884, aged 27 years. He was unmarried.
    

8. John Patrick Logue, son of Daniel and Catherine Logue nee Doherty, born 12th July 1858. John married Sarah Elizabeth Atmore, daughter of Edward and Mary Atmore nee Conway of Seaham, in 1883 at St. Bridget's, Raymond Terrace. They lived at Seaham with their family.
   
   Children of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore:-
       i)      Ethel Catherine Mary Logue, born 9th November 1884.
       ii)     Daniel John Logue, born 26th September 1886.
       iii)    Matilda Logue, born 6th March 1888.
       iv)    Ida Clare Logue, born 21st January 1890.
       v)     Kathleen Mary Logue, born 30th December 1892.

9. Charles Logue, son of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery.
    

10. Maude Logue, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery, married Alex Pye.
     

11. Bernard Logue, son of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery, born 15th February 1887. He never married.
     

12. Catherine Logue (Kate), daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery, married George Geering. Kate died 1977 at Casino NSW.

13. Ethel Logue, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery, born 23rd March 1894. Ethel married Charles Ryan (1) and Frank Carmody (2). Ethel didn't have any family.
     

14. Arthur Logue, son of Charles and Elizabeth Logue nee Rothery, born 19th August 1895. Arthur married Jane Searles.

15.  Clara May Logue, daughter of Daniel and Mary Logue nee Bellamy, born 3rd May 1881. Clara never married. 
     

16. Daniel John Logue, son of Daniel and Mary Logue nee Bellamy, born 24th March 1884. Daniel never married.
     

17. Margaret Catherine Logue, daughter of Daniel and Mary Logue nee Bellamy, born 19th September 1886. Margaret married James Nancarrow. Margaret lived at Booragul.
     

18. Claude Logue, son of Daniel and Mary Logue nee Bellamy, born 23rd April 1889. Claude married Vera Amy.

        i)     Paul Logue.
        ii)    Pamela.
     

19. Ethel Catherine Mary Logue, daughter of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore, born 9th November 1884. Ethel married Alfred Thorley.
     

20. Daniel John Logue, son of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore, born 26th September 1886. Daniel died at 17 years as a result of a horse accident.
     

21. Matilda Logue, daughter of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore, born 6th March 1888. Matilda married Richard Walsh.

22. Ida Clare Logue, daughter of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore, born 21st January 1890 and died at Seaham aged 18 years.
     

23. Kathleen Mary Logue, daughter of John and Sarah Logue nee Atmore, born 30th December 1892.  Kathleen married Clement Hartman. Kathleen died in 1975.
