William Garde, son of
Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee Cashman,
joined the merchant service. William married in Liverpool England and
immigrated to Boston USA. William had no family.
Ellen Garde, daughter of
Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee Cashman, born
1839. Ellen married William Coughlan of Saleen in 1866 in Aghada Parish,
Ireland. William served in the British Navy and died in 1917.

Maria Garde, daughter of
Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee Cashman,
married Pat Cashman of Ballyshane and went to Boston. Their decendants are still
in Boston.
Patrick Garde, son of
Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee Cashman,
married Miss Aherne of Ballynoe. Patrick died at Ballynoe in 1929, they had no
family.
Thomas Garde, son of
Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee Cashman, did
not marry but worked the farm at Ballybrannagan and died there.
Fanny Garde,
daughter of Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee
Cashman, married Richard 'Tom' Scanlon of Tulaheen.

Kate Garde,

Cashman, married John Kennefick of Mogeely. John died January 1935.

Jane Garde,
daughter of Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee
Cashman, married William Curtin of Kilbeg. Jane went and lived with her brother
Ben at Ballybranagan where she died.
Ben Garde,
son of Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee
Cashman, had two farms in Ballybranagan before he sold them after WW1. Ben then
went to live with his neice Maggie Scanlon at the Wood, Cloyne. Ben never
married. The land sold by Ben was purchased by the Kennedy's in 1920.
Matt Garde,
son of Benjamin and Catherine Garde nee
Cashman, never married and had a farm.
