Cleary Family

  1. Timothy Cleary, son of  John Cleary and Ann Polin, born 1819 in Killeigh, Kings County Ireland and died 24th August 1910 in Harold Street, North Parramatta NSW. Timothy married Ann Malone, daughter of Miles Malone and Ann Morris, on the 3rd August 1861 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Parramatta NSW. The witnesses to the marriage were Robert Dunn and Mary Conroy (St. Patrick's Church Register No. 2565). Ann was born Abt. 1834 in Killahoi, Kings County Ireland. (Kings County is now named Offaly County) and died 25th January 1890 in Glebe Street, Parramatta NSW. Both Timothy and Ann arrived in Australia aboard the "Hotspur" on the 24th February 1861.

  3. John Cleary, son of Timothy and Ann Cleary nee Malone, born 16th march 1867 in Windsor Road Baulkham Hills NSW and died 22 November 1943 in 13 Trott Street, North Parramatta NSW. John married Bridget Flanagan, daughter of Thomas Flanagan and Mary Conolon, on the 10th February 1890 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Church Hill NSW. Bridget was born 18th October 1867 in Castle Hill NSW and died 15th May 1920 in Clifford Street, Parramatta NSW.

  6. Mary Ann Cleary, daughter of Timothy and Ann Cleary nee Malone, born 27th October 1874 and married Kearin Buckley on the 17th March 1898.
     
  7. James Cleary, son of Timothy and Ann Cleary nee Malone, born 17th September 1882 and married Leah Lyons.

  8. Catherine Maria Cleary, daughter of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 26th October 1890 in Good Street Westmead NSW and married Edwin Walter Emperor Kelly on the 26th February 1916. Catherine died 16th April 1997.
     
  9. Ellen May Cleary, daughter of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 29th April 1892 in Good Street Westmead NSW. Ellen was drowned at Westmead on the 11th March 1895.
     
  10. Lucy Jane Cleary, daughter of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 4th May 1893 in Good Street Westmead NSW and married Reginald Williamson.
     
  11. John William Cleary, son of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 1895 in Good Street Westmead NSW. John died at Westmead NSW.
     
  12. Harold Silvester Cleary, son of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 1897 in Good Street Westmead NSW and died 19th October 1898 at the age of 1 year and 1 month.
     
  13. Stanley Joseph Cleary, son of John and Bridget Cleary nee Flanagan, born 23rd January 1899 in Good Street Westmead NSW and died 6th December 1976 in Lidcombe Hospital, Lidcombe NSW. Stanley married Frances Elizabeth Brennan, daughter of Talbot Brennan and Amy Hough, on the 18th April 1924 in St. Monica's Catholic Church, North Parramatta NSW.
