Campbell Family

1. William Patrick Campbell, son of Robert and Ann Campbell nee Mooney. William married Rose Therese Doherty, daughter of Patrick Doherty and Ann Gallen, on the 20th August 1884 in St. Bridget's Church, Raymond Terrace NSW Australia. The officiating priest was Rev. Thomas Nealon and the witnesses were Philip and Margaret Doherty. Rose was house keeping for Fr. Nealon at the time of her marriage. Bill took Rose to live at Kelso-ville (five miles north of the Terrace) after their marriage. There he had a bullock team where he used to transport Timber.

2. William Thomas Campbell, son of William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 12th July1886 at Kelso-ville. William "Thomas" married Bridget Margaret Carmody, daughter of Patrick and Anne Carmody nee Hughes, at the Sacred Heart Church, Hamilton on 5th May 1917. Thomas and Margaret celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1967. Thomas died 9th January 1971 and Margaret died 3rd March 1972, aged 86 years.

3. Francis Xavier Campbell, son of  William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 5th October 1887 at Kelso-ville. Francis married Ethel Frances Madden, daughter of Thomas and Bridget Madden nee Hogan. Frank died 17th May 1966, aged 78 years.

       i)      Eric Campbell.
       ii)     William Campbell.
       iii)    Ronald Campbell.
    
4. Mary Ann Campbell, daughter of  William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 20th May 1889 Stewart's Brook NSW. Mary entered the Sisters of Charity at Potts Point and her name in religion was Sister M. Norbert. Mary died 2nd February 1937 aged 47 years.
    
5. Patrick John Campbell, son of  William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 1st January1892 at Pambula NSW. Patrick married Ethel Power. Patrick died 22nd May 1954 aged 62 years.

       i)     John Campbell.
       ii)    Leonard Campbell.
    
6. Bridget Campbell, daughter of  William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 1st August 1893 at Cabbage Tree, Raymond Terrace NSW. Bridget married Walter John Simons, Son of Frank and Teofila Simons of Nyngan.
   
   Children of Walter and Bridget Simons nee Campbell:-
       i)     Dorothy Simons.
       ii)    Frank Simons.
       iii)   Noel Simons.
    
7. Robert Joseph Campbell, son of  William and Rose Campbell nee Doherty, born 31st January 1891 at Cabbage Tree, Raymond Terrace NSW. Robert married Clarice Allsopp, daughter of Charles and Mary Summer. Robert died 22nd October 1958 aged 63 years.

       i)      Kevin Campbell.
       ii)     Marie Campbell.
       iii)    Robert Campbell.
       iv)    Vincent Campbell.
       v)     Peter Campbell.
    
8. James Campbell, born 23rd March 1897 at Cabbage Tree, Raymond Terrace NSW. James married Mary Veronica Brady, daughter of James and Ethel Brady nee McMahon. James died 15th April 1963 aged 66 years.
   
   Children of James and Mary Campbell nee Brady:-
       i)      Ian Campbell.
       ii)     Maura Campbell.
       iii)    Anthony Campbell.
       iv)    Colleen Campbell.
    
9. Rose Theresa Campbell, born 18th March 1900 at Ash Island. Rose married Maurice McHenry, son of John and Mary McHenry nee Blayney of Melbourne. Maurice died in 1943.

       i)      Mary "Mollie" McHenry.
       ii)     Laurence McHenry.
       iii)    Kathleen McHenry.
       iv)    Leslie McHenry.
       v)     Patrica McHenry.

   Rose Theresa Mc Henry nee Campbell, remarried after Maurice's death in 1943 to Michael George McNamara. Rose died 25th May 1965.
