  1. Fredrick William Briggs, son of Robert Briggs, was born 1828 in Wiltshire UK and died ?. Fredrick married Mrs. Mary Ann Ford nee McEvoy, daughter of Thomas McEvoy, on the 19th January 1861 in the District of Burra SA. Fredrick's age was 33, labourer of Coperhouse Area and Mary was 27, a widow of Coperhouse Area, South Australia. Mary Ann McEvoy, born 1834 in Dublin Ireland and died 3rd September Abt.1917 in Western Australia. Mary Ann was the mid-wife in Melrose, South Australia.

  2. John Briggs, son of Fredrick and Mary Ann Briggs nee Ford nee McEvoy, born 18th September 1863 in Booleroo Centre, South Australia and died 14th May 1946 in Melrose South Australia. John married Catherine McMahon, daughter of Michael McMahon and Mary Ann Tracy, on the 1st December 1891 in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Pekina South Australia, in the presence of John Nugent and Charlotte Briggs of Melrose; Rev. Father James Maher officiated. Mary Ann was born 22nd August 1869 at Walloway South Australia, died 21st December 1951 at Booleroo Centre, South Australia and is buried in Melrose Cemetery, South Australia.

  7. Herbert James Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 2nd October 1892 at Booleroo SA and died 1972. Herbert married Doris Ey in 1918. Herbert died 21st January 1972 in South Australia.
     

  8. Ellen Mary Briggs, daughter of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 29th May 1894. Ellen married Tim Watts in 1921. Ellen died 20th August 1983 in South Australia.
     

  9. Edith Ann Briggs, daughter of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 26th November 1896. Edith married Charles Martin in 1918. Edith died 26th May 1984 in South Australia.
     

  10. John Michael Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 28th July 1899. John married Irene Doudle in 1931. John died 12th May 1967 in South Australia.
     

  11. William Edgar Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 4thApril 1902. William married Jean Ey in 1932. William died 21st May 1974 in South Australia.
     

  12. Mary Anne Briggs, daughter of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 18th September 1904. Mary married Fredrick Wood 1942. Mary died 28th October 1985 in South Australia.
     

  13. Edward Vincent Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 12th April 1907. Edward married Evelyn Taylor in 1949. Edward died 3rd June 1981 in SA.
     

  14. Albert Laurence Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 1st February 1909. Albert married Lorna Taylor in 1935. Albert died 30th December 1988, age 79 years, and is buried in Melrose Cemetery South Australia.
     

  15. Ruby Margaret Briggs, daughter of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 13th June 1911. Ruby married William McInerney in 1940.
     

  16. Reginald Allan Briggs, son of John Briggs and Catherine McMahon, born 8th April 1914 and died 8th February 1959.
