Margaret Brennan / Mary,
arrived in Port Jackson, from Cork, aboard the convict ship "John Bull"
on the 18th December 1821. Margaret was
"tried and convicted in Dublin City in 1821 at the age of 29yrs., and was
sentenced to 7yrs. Margaret's occupation was given as a "Ribbon

Margaret Brennan married Peter Byrne at
St. Mary's, Sydney in 1825. Peter Byrne (or Peter Burns) arrived in Port
Jackson, from Waterford in Ireland, aboard the "Almorah (2)" on the
22nd December 1820 and was a overseer on John Thomas Campbell's property at
Bringelly in the 1828 census.

son of Margaret Brennan, may have arrived in
Port Jackson, with his mother, aboard "John Bull", from Co. Cork, Ireland on
the 18th December 1821. John married
Johanna
"Hannah" Crowley, daughter of
John and Johanna Crowley of Evan,
at Penrith NSW on the 11th October 1842. The officiating priest
was Michael Ryan and the witnesses were Patrick Long of Mulgoa and Eleanor Donaghue of Penrith. John died on the 21st December
1854 and is buried in the Jamisontown Cemetery, Regentville NSW (near
Penrith).
