April 1904 in Albany Western Australia. Alexander and Christina arrived in Australia,
aboard the ship "Lincelles", on the
21st January 1862.
Alexander Armstrong, enlisted in the
42nd
Royal Highland Regiment
(The Black Watch),
on the 20th December 1849, promoted to Corporal on the 9th February 1853;
promoted to Sergeant on the 2nd November 1854 and discharged at Chatham on
the 14th December 1856.
Alexander served as a Prison Warden in Perth for 2 years and in Albany for
14 years before his retirement as a Warden and enter the Boating Business.
