Unlike the diet ‘du jour’ regularly popularized in the media and capitalized in the multi-billion dollar consumer exploitive weight-loss industry it is a matter of caloric restriction, macronutrient balance and progressive activity/exercise that is the solution to Obesity. It is after-all a simple, straightforward and irrefutable concept of physiology that has become one of the most contentious areas of practical application ever.
It is the milieu and layers of forces in play that make weight-loss seemingly an impossible goal to reach. However it can be no more daunting than the innumerable complex disease states that are managed each and every day through well-established and reliable clinical practice methods.
