In August 2006 "Guichen Bay Vineyards" wine label and Cape Thomas Wines commenced trading as a joint venture in the Mount Benson Hall which was renamed the Mount Benson Wine Centre. The Hall had been a focal point for the local community since the 1920s and at one time served as the schoolhouse for the local children. With grants from the Australian and South Australian governments and considerable donations of time and effort by many individuals the Mount Benson community renovated and refurbished the building. The two wine labels lease part of the Hall for their operation while the rest of the Hall is given over to display of tourist information, information about other Mount Benson wine producers and Cellar Doors and use by the community for social and other activity.

"Guichen Bay Vineyards" and "Wrights Bay Vineyards" are located in Wrights Bay Road , two kilometres from the Wine Centre.

Opening hours through March and April - Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 10.00 am to 4.30 pm
