| I'm confused by this car...Was given number 1693 in 1980s.
1693 is the number quoted by Bott when he used the car in competition, having bought it from Samuals as a "bitsa."
Said to be fitted with engine 1773 which was bought by P.S. from Tony Enrichez who owned car 1834 at the time, then passed to Bott.
The confusion comes from the fact that 1693 still exists and was returned to UK in 80s. There is little doubt about the authenticity of that car.
This is probably a T.C. but not 1693. Examination of chassis is only way to authenticate. |
