Modifications/History
Built less Batt. First reg. 28/8/59 HAO 992, rereg. KVD 293 17/3/71. Well documented history during first 14 years. Motor damaged in first 3 months by metal in manifold, repair required engine rebuild and new head. Later car was in for service and BMC supplied another new head with steel liners. Williams raced it at Sandown and Maan raced it at Calder and Templestowe. Dickenson blew up gearbox and left car for 2 years. Hamilton bought it unregistered and fitted Austin engine and rereg.
