Modifications/History
Built with C.S. less Batt. Sold by Barklay Motors Sydney to Meaney, NSW reg. BXL 441 14/9/59. Those plates destroyed 30/9/63 suggesting that was when it went to Tasmania. It is said this was the only T.C. sold new in Tas, apparently incorrectly. Restored by Anderson & Guthleben and won N.M. Concours Adelaide 1986. G.R. bought there. R.B. gave to son Justin who had major accident resulting in write-off. Rebuilt using replacement body 54868 & chassis 47810 by Mentone Panels, circa 91. R.B. used car in 2 Targa Tasmania events. Sold at GP auction 10/3/03 $45k engine rebuilt shortly after sale.
