Built less Batt. First reg. Vic. GZK 278 13/5/59, owned and raced by P.M. (BMC Dealer) Road Test and photos in Modern Motor August 59 and AMS 6/59 p231 showing car at Fishermans Bend Sprints @ 17.66 std. qtr. mile. Entered by Monaro Motors in races at Warwick Farm 9/61 driven by L.J. Callaway. Later rereg. JXP 624 15/1/68. Bought damaged (engine bay fire) in name of Ms. G. Fountain by partner Ron King who then rebuilt for historic racing but sold unraced. Phoenix crank and rods fitted, original m/cyls replaced with modern. I.F. tried to sell at Christies auctions 6/91, passed in @ $35k. res- $47k. P.C. sold through Nepean Classic Cars, widely advertised, 1999.
