" THE CIRCLE COVEN - WHO ARE WE?

DYFFEG - My craft name is Dyffeg I am in my 40's and in the outer world I am a nurse. None of the staff know who I really am... I tell them I belong to a Celtic Medieval Society to explain a bit about my strange social life. I’d like to be able to talk openly, but I think it would not go well for patients or staff... you need the time to explain exactly what you are, emphasising that you really are sane. Probably saner than most, I’d say.

BRIAHANNAH -    40ish, married with two children. I learned to meditate early and spent nights in my front yard, lying on the cool grass, gazing at the stars and full moon. My mother would come out and join me. We must have looked strange, both lying on a blanket staring at the sky. She would ask me what I saw and we would have long chats about many things. I miss her terribly. She was the best mothers a girl could ask for. When I told her that I was practicing witchcraft, she smiled, looked me in the eye and said, be careful what you ask for, you will get it. She was right, and I have never looked back.

AELLO -    Aello is an initiatied witch and priestess of the coven. She is 30-something, a writer, editor, dream interpreter, and amateur astrologer. One of the first indications of my spiritual tendencies manifested as my love of Meg and Mog picture books; it wasn't until adulthood that I identified as a witch and Pagan. I'm more-or-less out of the broom closet to my family, friends and colleagues at Big Scary Megacorp. It's hard to hide the Spirit that is the magick and meaning of my life - and I don't think I'm meant to.
