The Band Association of New South Wales was formed in 1896 as the peak organising body for Community and School Brass and Wind Bands in NSW.

The Band Association organises the State Band, Solo and Party Championships as well as providing access to a Library service, workahops, a regular bi monthly newsletter and access to various Band development tools and networking opportunities through its regional Sub Committees and Branches.

The Band Association is also affiliated with the National Band Council of Australia giving it’s members the opportunity to participate at the National Australian Band Championships.
