Our Beautiful Freshwater Dam Your hosts, Pat and Lyle Green The gardens surrounding the Bed and Breakfast
Lyle and Pat Greene invite you to their peaceful acreage on Ripple Creek, situated amongst native bush and lush gardens.
Our cool mountain rainforest retreat, only 25 minutes from Cairns and the Northern Beaches, is the perfect base to discover the region's natural wonders of reef, rainforest and outback.

The elusive Cassowary

We live in a very special part of the world and would like to share it with our guests.

Our property borders on World Heritage and State Forest, being home to hundreds of species of native flora and fauna. It is the ideal choice for those interested in nature, as the location makes early morning bird watching easy; and with over 50 kilometres of walking track which passes through several types of forest right from your doorstep, even the most enthusiastic bushwalker will be satisfied.

We have two creeks which pass through the acreage, which are home to many animals, such as fish, platypus and turtles.
While visiting with us you can cool off in our small dam or catch your own fresh water crayfish for dinner.

We provide a barbeque for you to prepare your own meals, or for a nominal fee all meals are available (breakfast is included free of charge, of course).
If you are planning a full days activities, a full picnic lunch can be organised for you.
