The steady recruitment drive continues for us as we say goodbye to dR ocTaGoN.
The dR has been an active contributor to the clan and we'll miss his medic rages when our soldiers dud him.
Aceyville joins hand as a primary soldier, bringing some good skill and a TFC background to our play.

We've cleared the slump in scrimming as everyone got active again. The teamwork continues to improve as we play more regularly and with a tight lineup of skilled players.
Some careful recruitment has netted up _!ntangible, a newish convert to TF2 but well know in CS circles. Hai tang, great to have you on board :)
Just as _!tangible joins, nih has decided to take a break from competitive TF2 and brush up on his pubhero skills. You know where to find us if you want to get back into the action man -gl hf.

Well OZFL rolls on and so does hand². After a bit of a break for a few days, we're back scrimming most nights and continuing to build as a team.
Along the way, Chromey has decided to retire from the clan and his involvement will be missed. At the same time, we have another skilled demo onboard in the form of smokey.
Welcome mate, we know you gonna do great things in your new hand² tags :)

In other news, we have gotten the hand server upgraded to run STV. So now we can invite our friends to watch us pwn :P

The scrimming and teamwork paid off this week in the form of a solid win against our old rivals nameless in the OZFL. We played tight and stayed on the gameplan pretty much the whole match, holding them at section 2, cap 4 of goldrush, then capping through with 5 minutes on the clock. While it definitely wasn't perfect, I'm stoked with the direction we are moving in. This round in OZFL we have a bye, but I think we can challenge strongly in the future to be near the top of division 2.

A new face in hand² tags is Tinfed, joining us as a scout/soldier/pyro. Welcome man, looking forward to some good matches with you dude.

We're on the way with our new team starting to show signs of coming together. Right now we may be recording losses, but we're scrimming a lot and against decent teams pretty much every time.
There's definite improvement in our team play; its only a matter of time before our unit clicks into gear and we start pulling out some good results, so keep the faith boys we gonna get there!
I reckon dR ocTaGoN may begin having rage withdrawals soon :D

A bunch of happenings over the last month has resulted in the clan essentially reforming with a new focus and a new lineup. To mark these changes, we've revamped our clan tags and steam page, with website and forum revamps underway now.

In the midst of the shakeup, we've parted ways with nvs, doodee, spangles (sort of), jammer (afk permanently), soapy, and daisjun.
Its been great fragging with you guys, catch ya on the pubz.

A focused recruitment drive has netted some seriously talented players, which can only bode well for our competitiveness in the future.

I'm stoked to welcome the following new members who have joined over the past month:

dR ocTaGoN (Kickass medic and not afraid to kick asses when team mates bail him! Yeah man!)

So while we can probably expect some losses over the next few weeks as we learn to play together, we have some serious potential within the clan to really up our game and cement our rep as a competive team.

In the last month or so we have really started to lift the standard of opposition that we are playing regularly. This has meant that we have had a lot more losses than we normally have, but chin up guys, we are starting to gel together in different areas and it will come. On a sad note, Hand says goodbye to daisjun, he is moving on and want to part with the clan, we thank you for your service mate! On a positive note, we have also welcomed Sphinx to our lineup! He brings experience and skill to the team and has already made an impact on the way we play!

Well what a month April was! Hand has seen some landmark events occur, culminating in getting our own server! Yep thats right, thanks to Lewstherin who organised the whole thing! For information on donating to the server fund contact Lewstherin! In other news we have had a massive influx of trialers in the last couple of weeks. Of the applications that have been made we have accepted 3 players to trial with us over the next few weeks, please do your best to make Fykus, Googz and nvs welcome around the place and play with them as much as you can! We have lost quite a few members in the last couple of weeks, warbux has finally decided to move on permanantly and deus and velocity have been dropped due to inactivity. Fantastic night of scrimming friday night guys, a hard fought win over waps. on well was countered by a defeat to them on gravel pit. We really need to get some sort of strat together for that map! waps. always prove to be testing opposition for us, and these two matches were no different. Congratulations to Daisjun on earning member of the month for this month! Mainly due to his activity and contributions to scrims! Well done mate, you've earned it.

Congratulations on a solid performance against |xl| on thursday night, it was a loss but a gallant one! |xl| are quality opposition guys, we'll have our time to move up the ladder. In other news, the Hand leadership team has been expanded from 3 to 5 members, with Lewstherin and Disturbed stepping up into new roles. First off congratulations to everyone on what was another fantastic performance on Sunday night! Hand outclassed our opposition again to continue our charge up the Game Arena Ladder. We are now ranked #36 on the Game Arena Ladder and play xl. for spot #23 this week! Make sure you are aware of the match date when it is confirmed! Jammer is going to be trialing with us, he joins Roma who is currently trialing, as always guys make these blokes feel welcome. Rock on!

Guys well done on the Game Arena Ladder win last week and the smashing of THC on friday night. This week we are playing AFO|Vanguard on Sunday night for spot #36 on the Game Arena Ladder, if those who can't make it could let everyone know in the forum post that would be awesome. Roma is trialing at the moment, he played with us against THC and we will try and squeeze him into a few more friendly scrims to see what he's made of, please make every effort to make him feel welcome! Also, a massive shoutout to Disturbed after his op, all the best with recovery mate, get those fragging hands nice and strong again!

Looks like quite a few of us have brushed off our inactive patches spent settling into work/school/uni and are ready to fire again. Personally it was great just for us to get together tonight, chill a bit and play out a scrim together, anything else would of been a bonus! Just a few quick things guys, first off sorry I havn't been around much in the last week or so, starting out work and stuff has made me really freakin busy majority of the time! We have a ladder match this week against Ethereal (E! tag) for spot 55th, I know it's only 10 spots on the ladder but lets move up slowly and surley! On another note I am super excited to welcome Shade to hand. this guy has skills and is a really nice bloke, great to have you around brother!

We sure had a marathon of scrims tonight! Started off playing against .waps who proved to be great competition, we really had no strategy on 2 fort and went down 1 - 4 in what was a little dissapointing, apart from the fact that well, it's 2 fort.... Following up that scrim we played z0r on two maps, dustbowl which we won by approx 6 minutes and granary in which we smashed them 12 - 0. Finally as we were almost falling asleep we played a fourth scrim against iD which we won 6 - 3 on dustbowl. On a side note Judas has chosen to cut links with hand. We thank Judas for his time here and wish him all the best on his future endeavours! Gonna miss ya bud. stay sharp guys

First off apologies for me being away and inactive in the past week or so, as most of you know I have my summer school exam on monday and have been trying to focus on my studies until then! Sadly we are saying goodbye to warbux, he served us well as a hand member and we wish him the best as he looks to join a top clan, gonna miss ya mate! It's been great that we have been able to scrim against some quality opposition this week! i really enjoyed the scrim I played in even though we lost, we are learning and growing together as a clan and it's great! Look forward to fraggin with you guys tuesday onwards, also please don't forget our Ladder match is this tuesday night at 9pm vs. d w c. I really want eveyrone on at 8:30pm at the very latest! We were taught a bit of a TF2 lesson by cC last night, they are clearly about 4 classes above us with a wealth of experience. Was quite amazing at times to just watch the way they play, so organised and skilled. We are warring THC tonight, unfortunatley I won't be around (I have my summer school exams next monday and have to knuckle down for those) but chris will be running the show! Last but not least a huge welcome to our new members. Velocity, Judas and Morxel, its great to have you guys around!

Great fun tonight warring guys, first against thc and then dv[8] with a couple of high quality fill ins on each side. The War against THC was great guys, they were undermanned and we are still learning but i was really happy with the result. dv[8] smashed us on Gravelpit with a few handy fill ins, (if you MAD DOGZ guys wanna play with us just let me know =p). Granary was a different story being very balanced and we only just egded them in the end. Thanks so much dv[8], always good lads and up for a scrim without notice.

Wow! What a great performance first up by the hand boys, was really impressed with you guys, especially Disturbed, Spanlges and Doodee who were playing their first scrim and held up quite well against an established clan! Chris was solid as as with some handy help from Warlock I think all in all we held really well over the 3 sections. Man of the match simply has to go to Soapy Illusion, as an experienced cmpainer he led from the front! Congrats Soap and well done to everyone who played!

Ok so new direction guys, sorry i've taken a while to get stuff up but this will be our web-site, the forums have been put up and linked please register to those as well, I have to fic them up though private forums etc are not working yet unfortunatley.
