A cat collar?

Cat Collar - Your cat may or may not need a cat collar, but many say it is always a good idea to have one no matter what. Cat collars are most commonly needed to keep your cats identification tag on them at all times. Even if your cat is strictly an indoor cat, you still need one on your cat at all times. Even if you don’t let them out, that doesn’t mean that they won’t find a way to get out once in a while. Cats have a natural curiosity to go outside and explore what they can see out the window, so don’t think any cat is immune to going outside. Get them a cat collar anyway.

You can find a simple cat collar or you can find one that is outrageous. This will of course be up to you. You can find them in simple colors, or you can get tie-dyed or studded collars. If you have enough money, you can get a cat collar that is studded with real diamonds. If you don’t have a lot of money, but what the sparkly look, you can get ones with rhinestones for the same effect. No matter what you like, just make sure the cat collar fits, and has a good clasp on it. The collar won’t do you much good if it won’t stay on.

Make sure you get identification to go on your cat collar. It can either be a tag with your name and phone number or address, or you can get a cat collar that is personalized with this identification. This is important incase someone were to find your cat, or if your cat is caught and ends up in an animal shelter. This information does not guarantee that your cat will be returned to you, but it does triple the chances. Your cat can’t come home if no one knows where home is.

The best place to buy a good cat collar is at a pet shop, but you can find good ones almost anywhere you shop. They will vary in price from a dollar to a couple thousand if you want to go crazy. What you get is up to you, and you may want to let your cat decide. If your cat is fussy, you probably don’t want something that might be really restrictive or heavy. If you get a cat collar that drives them nuts, they may spend most of their day devising ways to get out of it. Don’t believe me Go ahead and find out exactly what I mean.
