Advantage Flea Medicine - My dog used to get fleas every summer season like clockwork. As soon as the weather started warming up, she’d start scratching. Unlike other topical creams, Advantage flea medicine doesn’t make a big mess and doesn’t leave my dog’s hair all greasy and slimy. These monthly applications help ensure that eggs and larvae get destroyed along with adult fleas. As a result, fleas are attacked at all stages of their life cycles, which means they will be gone for good after only a few applications.
As you might expect, Advantage flea medicine is pricier than other brands. Let’s just say that you get what you pay for here! I initially purchased Advantage flea medicine from my vet, which is what the manufacturer recommends. This is due to the fact that the vet must measure out the monthly dosages based on the pet’s weight. But after a while, I started noticing that more and more online veterinary supply stores were offering Advantage flea medicine at huge discounts. I was able to save 50 percent off my order when going through one of these websites, which made a substantial difference for me since my dog required the treatments month after month.
