Technology Choice

Since first playing with computers back in 1980, I have followed and have solid understanding of the IT industry. Although I chose in 1992 to specialise in Microsoft products & technologies, I am happy to recommend colleagues or seek out experts in other fields if Microsoft's offerings are not suitable for my clients requirements. 

Project Management

Affable Solutions is able to provide project management of small to medium sized projects (2-20 staff) including use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project.

Requirements Analysis

Often overlooked in smaller projects is documented requirements, which serve as a guide to facilitate tendering, designing and also QA and testing a software system. Affable solutions works extensively with clients doing requirements analysis to ensure projects run smoothly and so that customers get the best solution.

Architecture

From the customer's requirements (whether documented or requiring documentation), logical and physical architecture diagrams can be drawn up for complex systems. This facilitates understanding between members of the team and ensures solid interaction between subsystems and ensures the system will have a long life and be easily enhanced and expanded.
