Day 1, Friday 11 June

Make your way to your respective airports to join your flight to London.

Day 2, Saturday 12 June
LONDON – NEWMARKET
On arrival in London, you will be met and transferred to Newmarket for check-in to your centrally located accommodation. Located north of London in Suffolk county, Newmarket is famous for its horseracing heritage dating as far back as 1174, and the town wears it love of horses proudly with special horse routes throughout as well as a wealth of stables right in the centre of town.

Day 3, Sunday 13 June
NEWMARKET
This morning we will visit a local stable in the area and the National Thoroughbred Racing museum which houses fascinating memorabilia of England’s rich thoroughbred racing history. This afternoon is free to enjoy this unique town at your leisure.

Day 4, Monday 14 June
NEWMARKET – LONDON
Enjoy an early start to watch the race horses exercising on the heath, followed by a visit to Dalham Hall, the famous stud farm owned by the Sheik of Dubai! We continue on to London and enjoy an orientation tour of the city in the afternoon. London is known for its museums and galleries as well as familiar landmarks from Big Ben to the Tower of London, the tour may give you an insight into London’s centuries-old traditions as well as its modern features.

Day 5, Tuesday 15 June
LONDON
Today you will be transferred to Ascot Racecourse for the first day of the Royal Ascot carnival. With 300,000 attendees annually, this is the most celebrated racing event in the UK and attended by the royal family. Today’s highlight is the King’s Stand Stakes, won in 2006 by Takeover Target, whose record was surpassed in 2007 by another Australian champion mare, Miss Andretti!

Day 6, Wednesday 16 June
LONDON
Your next three days are at leisure and you have the choice to attend the races at Ascot, or join our optional day tours. Today you may join an optional tour to Bath, Stonehenge and Windsor, the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world and home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Visit the 5,000 year old monument of Stonehenge, and the hot spring city of Bath.

Day 7, Thursday 17 June
LONDON
You have the day at leisure to explore London’s wealth of attractions at your own pace. As an option, you may return to Ascot racecourse for the popular Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot for the running of the Ascot Gold Cup, a Group 1 race that celebrated its 200th running in 2007 with a second consecutive win by Yeats.

Day 8, Friday 18 June
LONDON
With no scheduled program today, you may attend racing at Ascot again. Having at least one Group 1 race every day and a prize pool of over £3 million, there is never a dull moment during Royal Ascot! Alternatively, join an optional tour to the medieval Warwick Castle, followed by Stratford Upon Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace, and walk through the cobbled streets of Oxford.

Day 9, Saturday 19 June
LONDON
The exciting racing action comes to a close today, and you will attend the final day of the Royal Ascot. Today’s highlights include the Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes which was won by an Australian horse, Choisir, in 2003. On conclusion of the race day, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

LONDON – DUBAI – AUSTRALIA
Today transfer to the airport and board your flight bound for Australia via London. Alternatively you may stay in London for further travel in Europe, the choice is yours!
