Fri 28 October ? I'll post some pictures of the steering wheel. I had it reconditioned by Pearcraft.

Mon 14 June 2004 ? Things have been moving slowly, but at least moving! Speaking of moving, I hope you have been able to follow this ISP web page move. I have been ordering more ?bits and pieces? from CTA and even some Lucas electrical items from: Vintage Carparts UK.

Wed 13 Aug2003 - This site gets away from me over time... I have just come back from 4 weeks holiday in Europe. I did manage to visit CTA in Holland. I came home with a my suitcase heavy with some spare parts, steering ball joints and some nice chrome mirror accessories.

The project is progressing, I have the wiring harness "placed" on the car. The 4 windows are in place (strictly a 2-man job). The rear gaurds, valance and piping are also bolted on. The chrome steering wheel tube is clamped in place. The headlights have been chromed. See some pictures...

I have also started a news archive page to save the length of this one...Archive.

Sun 3 Nov 2002 - Now the car has returned home. The paint work looks magnificent as you can see from this link.

Sat 9 March 2002- Sorry about the change of URL. Dingoblue informed their clients this month that they would be terminating their services in 8 weeks. I trust that all of you were able to move across to the new address.

Sun 10 Feb 2002- I have made a decision to get the paintwork done professionally. The bodywork is came up so well, I think that I will have a nice specimen here. (I'd want to with the amount of money spent. My Christmas holidays were spent sanding and painting the small detachable items (brackets etc.). The car is booked in to be painted in May.

Thu 5 July 2001 - Today the Light 15 made it back home again. After 5 months the body returns, all panels are fitting well and the whole car is ready to be block sanded in preparation for its final painting (black, of course). But first I will be rust proofing inner doors, sills and boot.

Sun 1 July 2001 - check out the new member of the family, a 1972 D-Special, set to replace the CX2400 (my everyday car). The panels are all complete, everything has had a test fit and adjustments have been made. The underside will now be stone-guarded and a final coat of primer will go on during the week.

Fri 1 June 2001 - now things are really moving. The main monoque body is complete, the lefthand sill that was cutout last time is repaired. The rear floor area is also finished, with welded fatigue cracks. The boot is in place! and the rear guards will be on by the time you read this. The completed bodywork should be back in my garage by the end of the month.

Tue 29 May 2001 - took some more pictures at the beginning of May but I haven't had time to upload them till now. The floor is in and it looks impressive! The front right-hand side is completed and the left-hand side below the doors has been cut-out.

Sat 7 April 2001 - 29 hours of panel work was clocked up during the week. Floor is out, with a new one being prefabricated. The engine bay is finnished, and the front worst rust affected areas are now repaired. I thought I would reorganise the site into before and after shots. Dare I mention that I'm looking at picking up a '62 ID19 for restoration?

Sat 25 March 2001 - When things get going.... they really get going! The body shell is now with the panel-beater and there are many new things being done on a weekly basis. Have a look at some of the work now!

Sat 20 Jan 2001 - Did I say "shortly"? Well, after many more phone calls and a christmas holiday, the rest of the car made it to be sandblasted. Check the photos. I have also decided that while it is out I may as well get a pro to start most of the rust repair. Things may suddenly start to happen.
